I’m about to set a goal for my Pateron and once I reach that goal, I will get new hardware for rendering. New hardware means more power and with more power comes more responsibility. 😉
So I’m putting together a list of what improvements you will see here if I reach that goal, and buy new hardware.
So to make that list, I want to know what YOU think is important or most interesting for you. So I’ll be collecting input from you all from time to time to get a feel of what you want to see from me.
The 2nd question in this series is: Would you be interested in 4K size images?
Right now, I render at 2213×1660 pixels. I call this QHD. It is larger than HD and smaller than 4K.
4K images are great in that you can see so much detail. The downside is that it requires more work. Small mistakes that are not visible at QHD have to be fixed before rendering in 4K. And render times for 4K might be double of that of QHD.
But depending on how you view my picture, 4K might not even be necessary. If you jsut view them on the Pateron interface, HD is usually sufficient. If you want to download them and view it on your computer, 4K or QHD is good, depending on the size of your screen.

I’ve noticed your work seems to be of higher quality than most content creators. QHD seems like a good balance. I wouldn’t want details to get in the way of continuing the story. There is a fractal quality to digital that can be infinite. Diego Velázquez didn’t have such problems with his oils. His work looks great at a distance but close up you see he is just suggesting detail. Robert E. Thank you for that comment. That’s really good insight to detail and art. As for my work quality, I do try to create something that stands out. I strive to create interesting, original, and hot pictures on a regular basis. There is still so much I think I can do in terms of details (such as the quality of the background crowd, more complex effects like sweat flying off and better skin textures. But I try to achieve something that is great, not necessarily perfect, otherwise I’ll never produce anything :D. But I also personally feel that the quality has steadily or slowly improved though the months 😀
I remained stunned at the quality and quantity of your output and the intricate storyline that weaves these hyper masculine images together. I’m not going to put down other content creators, but your content is rare. I’m a happy androphile. Adding sweat and higher resolution crowd would be hot. I can just see the lusting businessmen in the crowd grabbing themselves as they watch their favorites battle it out.
Exactly. It’s something I do wanna spend time on as well. Having a lot of detail in the crowd. I might do something like this for special key scenes that are rendered in 4K. Like a special edition where I can do more detail that is not possible in a serialized output.
